Records Management

This is where Dentists and Dental Receptionists can access a patient’s records. Users can enable or disable charts, CRUD dental records as well as the patient’s dental history.



The first tab that users will see on the Dental section of the Medical Records is the Baseline Chart. Users can select the past dates of the records and it will automatically reflect in the Baseline Chart.



To enable the Advanced Chart, toggle the Enable Advanced Chart option and then the Classic Chart will change into an advanced Periodontal Chart.

Steps in Managing Dental Records



To input a record:

  1. Click any of the teeth from the chart.

  2. Update the dental status of the specific tooth.

  3. Confirm position of the tooth.

  4. Choose dental status.

  5. Add remarks.

To see the proposed dental work, enable the view through the toggle.

To display the work done, click the chart toggle button to enable.




Another way to create a dental record in current encounter is found on the bottom of the page.

  1. Click the Create Dental Record button.

  2. A prompt will appear for the creation of the dental record.

  3. Input the necessary details then click Save Record to finalize the record.


To edit or delete a record:

  1. Click the More Options ( ... ) button.

  2. Click Edit and then edit details.

  3. Or, click Delete icon.

  4. Confirm deletion to delete record.


Next is the Work Proposed Chart. This is where users can input the plan for the patient’s dental needs. Users can also select dates to show the dental record done that day which will automatically be displayed in the Work Proposed Chart.



Users also can enable or disable the Advanced Chart, display Baseline Charts, and the Work Done Charts based on the selected date. They can update the dental record by clicking on the tooth and inputting necessary details. Click Save Records to finalize.


  1. Select Create Dental Record found on the bottom of the page.

  2. Input the necessary details.

  3. Click Save Record to finalize and add to the patient’s dental records.


To edit or delete a record:

  1. Click the More Options ( ... ) button.

  2. Click Edit and then edit details.

  3. Or, click the Delete icon.

  4. Confirm deletion to delete record.


Next is the Work Done Chart. This is where users can view the dental work that has already been done by the dentist. This enables users to keep track of the changes as well as easily identify complications if ever they occur.



Users can also enable or disable the Advanced Chart, display Baseline Charts, and the Work Proposed Charts based on the selected date. Similar to Baseline Charts, users can update the dental record by clicking on the tooth and then inputting the necessary details on the prompt. Click Submit to finalize.


Users can also select the Create Dental Record found on the bottom of the page and a prompt will appear for users to input the necessary details. Click Save Record to finalize and add to the patient’s dental records.



To edit or delete a record:

  1. Click the More Options ( ... ) button.

  2. Click Edit and then edit details.

  3. Or, click the Delete icon.

  4. Confirm deletion to delete record.

To bill the service to the patient:

  1. Click on the Bill Encounter button.

  2. The user will be redirected to the Billing Invoice page.

  3. Pay the fees.

  4. Proceed the patient to their next queue.
